If you were to examine the purpose for home schooling, you might find that the parents have reasons that have nothing to do with academia. I remain of the opinion that public schools' educational process is sound and prepares the student. The big change has been the attitude of the student..entertainment from the womb has made the teaching of nouns and verbs intensely boring ... only the disciplined student survives.
