Reply to "It's moves like this that actually damage race relations"

Two completely cases having nothing to do with each other. Person A was minding his own business and was accosted because of his hat that he had every right to have on. Then he was falsely accused of a "racist" act and "set upon" by the rabid leftie news media and others. When he was vindicated by the proof...no one bother to apologize for trying to ruin his life and having death threats made to him and his family.

Person B modified an airsoft gun, not a BB gun, to make it look real by taking off the orange tip. Then he went to the park and started pulling it out and pointing it at cars. He was not accused of a racist act. He was as large as an adult male and refused to show the officers his hands. He made a movement officers took as his pulling out the gun...game over.

The report stated that, "The officers, who had no idea that the gun was fake or that Tamir was only 12, thought he was going to pull the gun out at them.” Prosecutors said in a December 2015 report that the toy gun in question was “functionally identical” to a real gun. The Los Angeles Times reported that prosecutors stated: "Tamir was big for his age—5-foot-7 and 175 pounds, with a men's XL jacket and size-36 pants—and could have easily passed for someone much older.”

Actual gun kid waved around and the real gun.
