When looking at the 2 candidates Sandlin has only ever ran for one office, unlike Jackson who has ran for the DA office in the last election and it was actually on the Republican ticket, but if this county wants to get rid of free programs that do not cost tax dollars go ahead I know I will never have to use them anyways, but that is your choice to vote for who you would vote for.
I am not voting for Jackson for a couple of reasons, number 1 lack of experience in family court, number 2 he wants to break up the family court and do away with the programs which in turn would cost about 20 jobs for this area and jobs that are paid through grants not tax dollars, look it up you can find out that information on Alabama's state website. Number 3 I work with a guy who has put up numerous Sandlin signs on his property and they keep getting tore down and someone will keep putting Jackson signs, and I find that very childish plus he is not the only person to have this happen to them.
So I just ask people to look up facts and look at it that way before we elect someone who does not believe in divorce, so how will he grant them?
By the way Jackson refused to have a debate with Sandlin, and when they did talk out at Handy (which I was in attendance) Jackson said I do plan on cutting all the programs Sandlin has put in.

According to the td on 7/4, Jackson said this: Jackson, 48, a Florence attorney and former district attorney in Lauderdale County, said he has heard rumors that he will dismantle some of the family court programs, but added he has no such plans. “Nothing could be further from the truth,” Jackson said.
