Reply to "Judges"

Miss Julie, Suttle did do some criminal cases, just not the high profile rape or murder trials. For the record, Willson Jenkins is the only attorney who contacted me when I profiled each of them.

I was tempted to endorse Jenkins, but since it is not an election and there is unfortunately not that much interest in the first place, my humble endorsement would have done little for any candidates I would assume.

I am still displeased that Billy Jackson did not make the short list, but perhaps there are reasons. If I had to bet, and it would be a toss up, I would think Riley would give the nod to Hall. If that does happen, Florence will then need a new municipal judge. Jackson should not want that since I understand the salary for prosecutor and judge are almost identical.

If we live in Florence we will immediately need to lobby for our candidate in order for Dogette or someone similar not to be appointed. We have at least one overly qualified attorney who regularly works in Municipal court and I will be actively campaigning for him if the need arises.
