Because E, That is who I am.. I am one of those rare people that does care when someone is bruised. Maybe you don't have compassion for others, and what the heck makes you right anyways? lol

We all realize that Brenten is a grown man. No one has said differently, but sometimes even grown men need to see that they are worth something, when they are upset, angry or sad. You may not like it, but heh, I don't care.

If he still wants to leave that is cool.. And btw, it's actually not coddling, it's more of unsolicited advice.
