These "typical" students are full of liberal mush that comes from years of indoctrination by liberal teachers and professors who live on theory and philosophy. They have very little real-world experience and worse grade students accordingly to how well they absorb and mimic the liberal agenda they are spoon fed throughout their years in College and often times through high schools.
Just like many of their adult liberals they base their beliefs on innuendos and second or third-hand information that has no basis in truth but comes from a wealth of liberal, political agenda driven, desires and hopes. Many of these students, one day, when reality hits them or they get doses of the "real world" then will only question that which they were taught and find that idealism is great in college and theory but none of it puts food on the table (except for a select few) and then when they start making good money, for those that do, they don't like giving it out to people who don't do anything to earn it. Socialism is great in theory just as Communism has it's points, in theory, but when it comes to real-world practice it all fails and falls flat and can't be supported.
As long as you are at the top of the pyramid things are rosy and great but when those supporting the top become disenchanted and question their participation and what benefits they are getting the support becomes fragile and begins to falter and can only be continued with force and by fear and intimidation. These ideological youth have no problems spending and using other people's money but when it's evident that it's coming from their pockets and supporting people that don't or won't work and are content to live off the work of others then their willingness to go along with those ideological ideas wains and falters as they find our capitalistic system that rewards work and effort isn't so bad and rewards those who position themselves appropriately. Until then and until these students and youth replace theory with knowledge and rumors with real information they will continue to blindly follow and mimic those liberals who lead them into the abyss of liberal thinking.
Heck I remember college and through the first two years and core courses when you're living off Mom and Dad's money and enjoying the leisure of travel and wild abandon lifestyles life seems good and you're ready to save the world and show everyone how they are wrong and how everything can be done so much better. Then you hit the wall of reality when you start contemplating just how you are going to make a living once College is over and the classes are over and you actually have to produce and survive on your own you began to get serious about studying the things that you will use or that will help you advance. Somewhere along the line, you find that even your carefree and partying friends are starting to buckle down and have less and less time to enjoy partying and living in wild abandon. Those years of theory and mush though are nice if you are lucky enough to have mom and dad's support and money to live on, for a while, but all too soon everything becomes only memories.
