Dark, I know what you mean. It seems to me that as many good things happen for us as happens for the christians I know. But it's just life. Life is what you make of it, and I learned along the way to appreciate even the smallest things it offers. Bill and others say atheists are only out for worldly things or pleasures or whatever. I am here to tell you that I can lose anything I own and not worry one bit about it as long as I still have my husband and children. If I ended up living in a cardboard box I could "cope" as long as they were safe and sound. Worldly possessions don't mean squat when you think of what you could lose. When certain christians start telling you about the love of worldly things they are saying way more about themselves than they are saying about atheists.
