But the poor will save on gas money by not having to drive to the state lines plus, I don't believe the poor are required to buy lottery tickets and should know better. I'm not poor and occasionally will buy one just for entertainment and don't expect to win.

"Also, don't believe the property tax stories. I have a plot of land in Alabama that appraises at $15,000, I can't sell it for $10,000 and I pay $164 property tax to Alabama. Tennessee rates are not that high. BTW, this land is 1/2 mile from the school."

Believe it or not, Alabama has more than one school. I happen to know this because I've attended five of them.
