What's so scary is when Senators get elected, they most often get reelected for life. Neither party really gave us the best candidates to choose from. Or, are there just no politicians in the Montgomery "country club" that are up to the job?
On top of that, our other Senator is really getting old. Is it such an easy street that someone would want to be in the Senate into their mid 80's? Or is it that much fun that someone would want to be a Senator until the day they died?
Maybe if Big Luther had run on his own, without The Swamp putting $ millions and millions into his campaign, he'd have a better chance of being elected. The ignorant voters also thought there were shennagans when Big Luther didn't really go after the Guv that put him into office.
