that is horrible.

i was right behind a car that hit a man on a bicycle in lawrenceburg a couple of years ago. i stopped, called 911 and went to the man and tried to comfort him. i was afraid to move him, but i stayed with him til the ambulance got there.

the main thing i remember is feeling so bad that i had nothing to put between his head and the pavement, not that i'm sure i could have safely gotten something under his head. i vowed to always carry a clean towel at least in my vehicle, so i'd have SOMETHING in case this ever happens again.

several other people stopped, too. i don't believe this would ever happen here....
