Media should call out administration

What is narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)? The DSM V indicates the following defining characteristics:

1) Grandiose sense of self-importance (exaggerates achievements and talents).

2) Preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, etc.

 3) Believes that he is “special” and unique, understood only by special or high-status people.

4) Requires excessive admiration.

5) Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations.

6) Interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his own ends.

7) Lacks empathy.

8) Envious of others or believes that others are envious of him.

9) Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.

Sound familiar?

Gaslighting is a favorite strategy used by someone with NPD. Gaslighting uses persistent denial, misdirection, contradiction and lying to destabilize and delegitimize a target, in this case, the American public and the media. The intent is to sow seeds of doubt, hoping to make people question their memory, perception and sanity.

If we do not call out the Trump administration on this behavior, we run the risk of having a media that will no longer be able to tell truth from alternative facts, which incidentally do not exist.

When the administration says the media is lying, be careful. If the media wants access to a person with NPD, the last thing they will do is to irritate them by contradicting them.

It is in our interest to support the media when they call out gaslighting.

============================

Yet another misguided cry baby idiot turns to liberal fantasyland while licking
the wounds. The above is actually talking about obumer, the baddest of the bad.
Trump has made more progress of the much needed type than in the last
31 years. You hang in there with your hate and cat hat, or is it your raghead.
