GB had a caller bring this up. During the Zimmerman trial, there were many horrible murders that were far actually motivated by race. Zimmerman was an advocate and mentor for many minorities in his community. The death was a result of a tragic set of circumstances that went out of control, but would the press even have reported it if Zimmerman had died from his head trauma rather than shooting Trayvon? As this story and others show, the media probably would not have.
