Reply to "Not too good an Omen regarding Sears"

Kenmore, DieHard and Craftsman are all Sears brands and unique to Sears however there is speculation that Sears will now be selling off each brand in attempts to remain viable.  I like Kobalt (Lowe's) brand tools but Home Depot has their own branded tools labeled Husky.  Snap-on tools though have a great reputation and the representative comes around to you but you do pay a price for them.  The following are also highly rated hand tools:

Armstrong – Part of the Apex Tool Group

Proto – Part of Stanley Black & Decker

SK Hand Tool – Now part of Ideal Industries

Williams – Part of Snap-on Industrial Group

Wright – An independent manufacturer

and I'm sure I missed others.
