I grew up with-out a Father because of the Korean War. I lost two uncles in Vietnam. My Grandfather was disabled most of his of his life because of wounds he received in WW2. Without the brave Minute Men and Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. We wouldn't even have a Country. We wouldn't have our precious
rights that give us the freedoms that we enjoy. I don't defend wars like Korea or Vietnam but it was not the soldier that was to blame, most of them were drafted. These were wars that Democratic administrations pulled us into. But sometimes we need to put our troops into harms way for either our defense or our future defense(preemtive defense). If we would not of joined the allies in WW2 we would have had Hitler attacking us here eventually. Look at Isreal. Without thier soldiers they would of never had a country. In Afganistan if we would not of envaded we would be under eventual constant attack from Osama's permanente bases. In Iraq we at the time(Congress and Bush)thought that they had WMDs. At the least they were massacreing thier people. And as far as my personal contributons besides my father and uncles. I contribute and volunteer in some VA programs in my area.
And do I actually believe that all people who think and vote like you don't have a job or pay thier bills? No, that was a knee jerk post. But I do believe that the majority of the people who voted for Obama do not. The majority of people who voted for Obama do not pay taxes. When you get back more money than you pay in. You do not pay taxes. If you pay in at all. The Dems win by promising gov't hand-outs.

Life is not as simple as your limited reasoning ability would like for it to be. Democrats and Unions aren't bad, they're Americans that don't trust business types until they've earned it. Welfare recipients aren't bad, they're down on their luck Americans. Non Christian people aren't bad, they're Americans with a different cultural upbringing than you have.
There was a time when Americans could disagree without feeling threatened by each other. Atwater / Rovian politics have changed all of that and you've bought into it hook, line and sinker.

As for serving I tried to inlist when I was young. Was turned down because of health problems. So your dog is bigger than mine or my dog is bigger than yours. Why don't you do some reading? This time something that is not fiction. May I suggest the Constitution. Do this then tell me where in that Constitution
that it says that I owe someone else a living? Talk about down on thier luck. I stood in line too many times in the grocery stores growing up watching people ahead of us with prime steaks paying with food stamps. And thier second purchase beer ,wine and cigaretts. As I look down at our top roman and cheereos. As far as people who aren't Christian. Where the @*!! you get that? Hey I don't feel a bit theatened by anyone as long as they don't rob me and stomp on my rights. I'm sick and tired of you socialist trying to change the Constitution. Regardless of up-bringing were all differant in this country but, we only have one US Constitution. Leave it alone and I'll leave you alone.
