One would wish that the judiciary was non-political and totally non-biased but we don't live in that perfect non-partisan world. The judge that ruled in this case, against Sandman's case, was a Jimmy Carter appointee so it's reasonable to assume that the Judge is potentially a liberal leaning judge and would potentially rule in favor of the more liberal news source. It will be interesting to see what happens at the appeals level.
