Reply to "Outback Steakhouse -Drive Thru Restaurant"

I have been in that Outback Steakhouse no telling how many times over the years. I eat there at least once every 2 months, and I must say, what happened was preventable! Outback Steakhouse needed to have a line of concrete barriers along the front of the restaurant! If concrete barriers were in place and a driver made this mistake the car would be stopped by the concrete barriers. What if there had been a small child in the front of the restaurant at the time who wasn't able to get out of the way? 1 thing to keep in mind is Outback Steakhouse has been leasing the building or property (not sure which) from the city of Sheffield, so this might not be Outback's fault they did not have concrete barriers. That said I hope Outback Steakhouse reads this and puts concrete barriers in front of their new Florence location. Frankly for any restaurant that serves families and has majorly glass doors or windows along the front concrete barriers should be required by city code, because it is not acceptable for a small child or a person in a wheelchair to be run over because they couldn't get out of the way in time. Glad everyone was OK but who is to say this won't happen again?
