Not sure why you posted this; but, let me give a few Scripture passages which you may find useful when folks try to sell you false teachings and false doctrines:
Matthew 24:23-24, "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or 'There He is,' do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect."
2 Timothy 4:3-5, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."
Remember, you can always count on the Bible, the Written Word of God -- for it is His full revelation to man. As you and I know, it is the sole authority to guide man to salvation and eternal life in Jesus Christ -- and to guide us in our daily Christian walk. In this one book, God has done it all. All we have to do is to follow His instructions.
