The culture values the wrong things. In that video of the little girl cussing I posted the other day you see a 4 or 5 year old (if that) saying she rides on MFing 40s (rims). If kids were raised with a value for education as opposed to the street culture no doubt they would have a better shot at a future.

The black community has many solid citizens, but is cursed with a substantial underclass that places little or no value on education, common courtesy, lawful behavior, or mutual respect (although many of them are quick to characterize any criticism of their distorted world view as "dissin'" or disrespect). Trouble is, that element does not even respect themselves. They are a drag on the many black citizens who work hard, behave themselves, and are a credit to their communities.
