Reply to "Racism..."

Not to mention that slavery goes on today, in certain parts of the world. In fact I doubt slavery has ever totally ceased over the whole world. I just saw a news article posted in the internet about North Korean women being sold into slavery as they crossed the North Korean boarder with China. Chinese men would pay off North Korean guards to allow the women to pass over and then grab them when they do. Other parts of Southeast Asia and the Orient also have slave labor camps as well as parts of China. Then if you look at some of the strict Islamic laws that some women live under some could say that they were forced to live as slaves to their men.

I know that slavery is a very touch issue in America, with regards to Black Americans, however in most discussions, regarding slavery of Black Americans, I hear very little or nothing about the fact that many white americans shed blood and fought for slavery to be abolished and to enable equal rights. Most of what I hear today is as if slavery in America still exist and I just don't know where all that anger comes from. Yes some people are racist but no color or race has a patient on racism.
