If Republicans fail next at reforming the tax code and we remain on the Ol'bama trajectory, I'm betting on a recession next year. Businesses and the stock market have been betting on getting pro-growth policies and have gotten the cart before the horse. Small businesses will have to manage with fewer employees, large businesses won't invest in the US and keep their money overseas, and state Medicaid budgets will blowup because even those in the 100-138% range will fall below 100% of the Federal Poverty level and the goobermint freebie money disappears.
