How many remember the movie Volcano? In the movie an underground volcano comes through he surface in Los Angeles and in the movie one of the warning signs was the tar pits expanding and heating up. Tar comes up from underground in Los Angeles brought this movie back to my mind. Not saying that anything like was portrayed in the movie could even happen in LA but Seismic activity is increasing in the area so who knows if a big quake is about to happen. One will surely come one day and they are overdue but who is to say when that will happen.
