While it will be messy, in the long term it might be best to just let Ol'bamadidn'tcare fail and let the markets sort things out. Dems designed the plan to fail in a decade or so and pave the way for single-payer, but if there's anything that modern liberals excel at, it's failure. I might note that in Californication, there is a fight to create a state run single-payer system, but it would be so expensive that dems smart enough to operate a calculator are backing away from the plan that they once pushed. If a high income state can't afford single-payer, how can the federal goobermint do it factoring in states like Mississippi and regions like Appalachia?
