All this feelgood Politically Correct BS aside-Much as I dislike mid-life god-zombies, I have to agree 100% with this particular statement Bill made.
Having been a school bus driver for the past 25 years, that driver's conduct in my opinion is completely unprofessional.
Where I come from that driver would likely be charged with "impairing the morals of a minor."
There was a driver where I used to work who was of that particular orientation who it was found had been purposely discussing and promoting his lifestyle to the students on his bus. Lucky for him the Board of Ed got wind of it first and he was terminated.
Most of us drivers-male and female alike would've probably had a discussion of the very up-close and personal kind with that driver somewhere off company property and convinced him that it would be a very bad idea to continue working there and behaving that way.
While I'm not necessarily homophobic-I don't care what you do as long as it doesn't directly affect me in a bad way-I have to draw the line when it comes to children.
I don't really give a rat's patootie what's currently acceptable-
