Wabbit,,, why can't you follow his thought?   I understood what he was saying,, main difference I see is we have those who follow blindly and those who think.  I often hear about reading books etc.   Is the purpose of reading to believe what a writer tells you? or for you to think?    Trust is earned, do you really believe our government has earned our trust?  I for one don't believe any elected official has earned our trust.   Interesting how common opinion in the past has been that politicians lie.   That thought has grown into only the other party's politicians lie.

If I'd ever seen you say a similar thing to a Republican, your post would actually mean something. You address me like I'm a child and you think that will help your cause any? I often hear Conservatives call for cooperation and condemn any Progressive they can, but I have yet to see one thing Republicans have done to help the middle class. I even asked , in a topic on these forums, for one example of a Republican idea that ever helped the middle class... ZERO. If you want to play the 'we need to get together' card, some instances of your stance being middle ground would be needed to facilitate it. Republicans vilify anyone they deem 'not conservative' and rail about cooperation. Two mutually exclusive actions. As soon as I see a Republican think for themselves and not toe the party lie, I'll be glad to point it out. It hasn't happened yet.
