Still, I ordered a roast beef sandwich and got ham, and I was not expecting to have to tip. Yes, if there's a server, you should really tip. It can be as little as ten percent for buffet style, or twenty or more percent for exceptional service. Most servers make only 2.13 or 2.15 an hour--the rest of their income comes strictly from tips.
