No time machine needed to keep on doing what you were doing. So Fusion hired Steele later on in the research. The research was already going. Arguing semantics makes it no less true.

You could borrow the time machine Hillary used to formulate the 'Uranium scandal', if you insist on such. Whatever you need to believe to be happy being you is perfectly fine with me.
