Tennessee - Dumpster Fire ... The wheels came off against Florida

Tennessee has won some games and played well against a very good West Virginia team but against Florida, the wheels came off and a team that they really needed to show up against they pretty much were AWOL.

Predictable to many though were the typical Tennessee "Fair Weather" fans who actually chose to boo their team at halftime and so many were leaving the game early.

The good news is that it's over and they can move on and have lots of things to improve upon.  The bad news is it doesn't get any easier what with Georgia next then Auburn, Alabama, and Kentucky ahead not to mention a vastly improved South Carolina team.  It may well be that Tennessee has yet another year where they don't win an SEC game.

A listen to the Paul Finebaum, ESPN, show already reveals some of the fans decrying Phil Fulmer's hire of Jeremy Pruitt.  I personally think Jeremy can turn it around and will have improved next year when some of his recruits start getting into the system but it seems from Saturday's Florida game that Tennessee is not a team that is gelling or buying into what Pruitt is selling, at least a lot of them are not.  I predict that we'll see more freshmen getting playing time as some of the holdovers from Butch Jones are left to ride the bench.
