Ah, so when something doesn't make sense, either because of a lack of facts, or because the behavior seems bizarre, it's only my wanting to believe the worst about folks? And, for you to make that statement is just priceless, you who does nothing but see the worse in people. If you either don't see the problems with the story, or just choose to ignore them, that's on you. I still say, what are the odds that two men, running from the police after committing murder, knock on a door after midnight without fear the homeowners will call the police and give away their location, or, answer the door armed because they know people are on alert, and finding a family that will help them. Now, with that "said", I made it a point to say, it could turn out to be someone that knew them and gave them aid. If not, they were one very stupid family.

Conveniently, you left out a critical part of your conjecture, which followed immediately after the statement ("I made a point....) you made above, namely:  "Then, knowing the search was on top of them, and most likely they'd find them in their shed, they gave them up and used the excuse they didn't know they were giving criminals aid."

Your duplicitous editorial pen was craftily at work there, Best, but I caughtcha!
