For myself it wasn't about WMD. It was about making someone pay who is most likely responsible for the deaths of Americans on American soil in the WTC bombings.
It came down to two possible parties, Afganistan and Iraq. Since Iraq openly held terrorist training camps specificaly targeting America and the Iraqi government paid the families of suicide terrorist, Iraq was the most obvious government to take out. Yes, the trainig camps were in Afganistan too but not openly government sponsered like in Iraq.
Somebody had to pay for the WTC bombings. Iraq was the most logical. The debate about why and who we attacked is NOT the debate topic rather,it is the attack plan it self.
It is becoming more and more apparent that not enough troops were there to do the job right. I still think 30K to 50K should be sent to Iraq to finish the job. Then get out.
