Dire, Wikipedia says Canada and Taipan are single payer, lots of other nations are national plus some private.

Per CNBC, average Ceo pay in America in 2016 was 12.4 million which was 335 times average worker pay.  Per Time money, same thing.

per Bloomberg, average US CEO made 16.85 million last year, world average was 6.51 million. China was 0.64

Gifted, I had SS held out of earnings on farm labor. If, I think, back then if a farmer was gonna claim a tax deduction and paid over $250 to a worker, SS had to be held out. Thanks for calling me a liar. Typical.

Canada had single payer healthcare.

Per Wiki:

"Chaoulli v Quebec (AG) [2005] 1 S.C.R. 791, 2005 SCC 35, was a decision by the Supreme Court of Canada of which the Court ruled that the Quebec Health Insurance Act and the Hospital Insurance Act prohibiting private medical insurance in the face of long wait times violated the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms. In a 4 to 3 decision, the Court found the Acts violated Quebecers' right to life and security of person under the Quebec Charter. The ruling is binding only in Quebec. Three of the seven judges also found that the laws violated section seven of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. One judge did not rule on the Canadian Charter. The result was a 3:3 tie on the question of the Canadian Charter, so Chaoulli decision does not apply to any other province."

The majority opinion ruled that patients awaiting specialist care over months, suffered the international definition of torture.  In Quebec, one of the most populous provinces, private healthcare insurance, hospitals, private doctors practices and urgent care centers are back.  The western provinces escaped the judgment by contracting out to US hospitals.

I know of no nation called Taipan. Taipan is the Chinese word for boss man, in Mandarin, I believe.
