Trent Lott could serve in the senate till he dies if he wanted to. He isn't independently wealthy like alot of the lifetime service dems so he's going to go get a real job.
As far as the Strom Thurman deal, all he was trying to do was make a 90 something old man feel good. If ou read any more into the comment than that you are a crack pot.
