Obama's advisors explained what would happen if the embassy was moved .. Obama as well as Bush *W and Clinton all declined to move the embassy because of the turmoil it would cause in the region. Trump's 'advisors' don't have a clue what to do about foreign policy matters and this was unnecessary.
Again that's leadership in action! Obama wasn't willing to cross the political winds when he put his finger in the air to see what direction the breeze was blowing at the time.. He also didn't want to offend, or confront, the Muslim backlash. Truthfully, you nor I, really will most likely know for sure why decisions were or were not made but I fully believe Trump is a naturally born and developed leader and Obama was never either. Obama could have done so much to improve race relations in the nation as well as bring us out of the funk that the Iraq war put the country into. Obama though was not competent nor able to do any of that. He was a victim of his own education and personal opinions as to all the ills of the world being the United States fault and the blame of white protestant Americans. At least that is what I believe, subject always to be mistaken but one thing I'm fairly confident about is that Obama was never qualified to be President. I also am fairly confident that he abhorred the Constitution as written and would have loved to have become a dictator in his own right ruling apart and over congressional opposition(s).
Obama, on his own, decided to use Executive Orders as a quasi dictator. As a result though all decisions and orders that were enacted by Executive Orders could be simply undone by the same type order except this time by President Trump.
