Actually, please don’t judge! I don’t deny being a Christian and will proudly admit to it however to associate me with the Religious Right in a negative connotation is incorrect, not as much from agreeing with the right’s beliefs and position but in attempting to associate it with politics.
I fully support our government’s separation from Church and religion because our Constitution is our government’s document not the Bible and we are not a Theocracy but a Represenative Government that represents both religious and non-religious citizens. I, also, am not a Republican but have voted for Democrats before and possibly. would again however as the party exist today I doubt that will be anytime soon, unless it’s Doug Jones .... possibly. I am Independent in my affiliation however I do admit that of recent times I have leaned Republican almost 100% and fully support Donald Trump and his agenda.
When I have not been happy with the choice of President, as I was with Obama, from year 1 of his administration on, I still supported him as President unlike many, today, with respect to Donald Trump, who will not support the position of President as long as Trump is in it but fully expect everyone else to support their candidate.
One additional thought. While I might, next to always, disagree with you politically, I would not attempt to demean you or attempt to blanket associate you with the majority of other far left, politically liberal, advocates under some blanket banner as “my Kind” in a negative way. Everyone has their own reasons for believing as they do or advocating for their respective positions. I surely admit not understanding your basis for blanket acceptance of Democratic philosophies and positions while blanket rejection and criticism of Republican positions for what seems like a position based solely upon what side of the isle something originates or is presented on. IF that is incorrect then I apologize for that characterization. Please though, with regards to myself, try and give me a measure of impartiality without prior judgment.
