The FISA warrant came from information from an Australian spy that Papadopoulos had been bragging to about the dirt on Hillary they got from the Russians. If the information wasn't correct, why is Papadopolous guilty? Republicans have these wild conspiracy theories about the FBI and the Justice Dept. They're going to push those narratives to the tune of 'if you tell a lie loud and long enough, they'll believe you'.

In just one year Trump and the Republicans have convinced their base that the FBI is the enemy and Russia is the ally.
