First of all, it's not in any way settled yet. Second, do you really support ANY kind of "law" that would force you to buy ANYTHING that is totally encapsulated? That is to say not related to some privilege such as use of a motor vehicle, a boat, etc. Really?


I have no problem with the elimination of the mandate to purchase insurance as long as there is no medical care available to those that cannot pay. If you in an traffic accident and are unable to pay and have no insurance, you get kicked to the curb where your friends and family can retrieve you and care for you at their home. It would result in many more deaths from illness and injuries, but after a few years, everyone would have insurance.


Yet the whole "house of cards" that is "Obama Care" is predicated on the mandate, otherwise it will not work. Further, when it doesn't work, that will be the point when "nationalized health care" arises as the "solution" to the issue. Oh wait... nevermind.
