I'm reminded of an old joke the Saudis used to say, "That if Arabia became communist there would be an oil shortage in two years and a sand shortage in four years."
Venezuela, despite more oil than the Saudis, has a gas shortage. Nothing that a few well placed rounds wouldn't solve.
