Hacking started in earnest on DNC servers in April 2016 -- servers still unprotected. John Podesta fell for a phishing ploy to expose his email password (PASSWORD). Trump was considered a dark horse until late in the campaign. Even as the Republican candidate, polls showed him as trailing Hillary. Why would the Russians support such as dark horse? And, exactly what did they do to support him?
The Russians are masters of disruption and have been since the days of the czars. Whatever interference they've done was to sow chaos in the US body politic. They're doing so in the Ukraine, now. Recently, their presence was found in a number of EU nations. Democrats are serving their traditional role as useful idiots assisting the Russians in their campaign of disruption.
