SL, I wonder how many folks are using VOIP? I have been using Vonage for a year and a half and love it. Great quality no problems and $25 a month unlimited. Vonage to Vonage calls are always free so if you had a kid or family in another country send them a vonage and worst it can be is $50 a month. If I could get a cable modem I would fire bellsouth for my landline/house phone, I think I pay about 100 a month if I never make a call, what a racket. I also carry my Vonage modem with me so that I have the same phone number no matter what country I am in. My favorite vonage feature is that when I get a voice mail they email me a wa v file so that I can listen to it and determine if I need to return. You can also make your cell ring at the same time as your vonage (or your house phone for that matter)
