Yes, the Golden Corral, signage is finally up, and they are well on their way to preparing the restaurant for Golden Corral. I was able to see that it appears that they are doing a total renovate inside even down to replacing all the buffet stations and tables and looks like they are addressing the bathroom situation that Ryan's always suffered with by redoing the bathrooms. I do though think that they will be in the approximate location as they were with Ryan's just a total redo which was sorely needed.
I just hope that the quality of the food is much better than Ryans. It's been a very long time since I've ate at Golden Corral myself and the last time I ate there you could "special order" a GC marinated Sirloin but that's been a very long time ago. Now, at today's restaurant, I don't know if you can order specific steaks or if you just have to take what's on the bar/buffet.
Even with that I believe that Golden Corral is heads above Ryan's and that over the years Ryan's owners allowed the Restaurant to go downhill fast as they only or seemed to only care about profits or what they could draw from the place rather than invest in it to make it better and keep it competitive.
