Even if that is so, what did that have to do with the United States? There are a lot of bad people all around the world in power. Is it our place to depose all of them? Saddam was in a box, and except for taking a few pot shots at our overflights, couldn't do much harm outside Iraq. I would be willing to bet you big money that more Iraqui citizens have been killed by the US than were ever killed by Saddam.
The war in Iraq is NOT part of the war against terrorist. Plain and simple. If you believe it is, you are sadly mistaken.
Actually, the terrorist are winning- UBL stated that he wanted to destroy the US economy. This debockle in Iraq has already cost .5 TRILLION dollars to date, with no real stop in sight. If you think that kind of out pouring of money, borrowed from China, does not hurt our country , you are as crazy as Bush!
We WILL leave Iraq sooner or later. Question is, how many more souldiers will have to be sacrificed, and how many more $ will have to be spent on this farce?
