Who knows how 2018 will shape up! Much of the world runs on emotion, so I suspect the year will have more than its fair share of surprises. Iran could be self immolating, Kim Jong Un could decide it's now or never, and irrational exuberance could change to inexplicable languidness if the Federal Reserve gets ahead of itself by hiking rates faster than Wall Street likes or if the markets have gotten over inflated in 2017 on tax cut expectations.
