Hi Rim,

To be honest with you, I frequently ask myself this question.  And, often, I have found myself to be wrong.  However, I have NEVER found God nor the Bible to be wrong.   So, using that as my guideline, I can comfortably state, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and hat not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast"  (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Jesus tells us, in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world (Rim, Bill, Jennifer, Chick, Deep, Jimi, Buffalo, O No, everyone -- even Jimi), that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

In John 5:24 Jesus Christ tells us, "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

Of course, since this is true the converse of this is also true -- "he who hears My word, and DOES NOT believes Him who sent Me, DOES NOT have eternal life, and does come into judgment."

1 John 2:23, "Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also."

1 John 5:12, "He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."

When the Bible tells us that a person HAS ETERNAL LIFE -- this means that this person will spend eternity in the presence of God.

When the Bible tells us that a person DOES NOT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE -- this means that this person will not spend eternity in the presence of God.

And, the Bible tells us there are only two eternal homes -- heaven with God -- or hell without God.

So, you can see that there is a clear choice that each person must make.  Will YOU spend eternity in heaven with God?  Or will YOU spend eternity in hell without God?  The wonder of this whole issue is that YOU get to make that choice.

Therefore, Rim, Chick, Jennifer, Uno, Deep, Crusty, Jimi, and all of my wonderful Forum Friends who keep huffing and puffing, claiming that Bill Gray is condemning YOU to hell -- that is blatantly wrong.  ONLY YOU can send YOU to hell.

Now, am I spewing hatred because I tell you this?  Of course not, this is being said in love -- for I love each one of you enough to want to make sure you understand the truth -- that only YOU can and must choose YOUR eternal home.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
