You can't take 20.3 Billion with you

Paul Allen (co-founder Microsoft) Dies

Co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen died at age 65 with an estimated worth of 20.3 Billion.  If anyone could pay to stay alive, if it was at all possible, he would have done it.  I've read stories about people having themselves completely frozen, in liquid Nitrogen, or partially frozen in an attempt to have themselves thawed back out at a future time when a cure for their specific reason for death was found.  There have been other articles whereby science is trying to copy and digitize a person's mind/thoughts etc and store them in hopes to reprogram a new brain or mind at some point in the future when technology made it available.

There are several different people working on trying to obtain immortality or eternal life but one thing they all seem to have in common is an agnostic or atheistic view.  According to the Scriptures/Christian Bible, everyone will live eternally, in a Spiritual sense.  In other words, the flesh/body dies whereas the inner soul/spirit is eternal in nature and will continue to live eternally so what many strive so hard for they already have the only question that will remain in doubt is where or how they will live eternally.

Some believe there are only two alternatives, that being heaven and hell where others believe there are many states that the soul/spirit may occupy or degrees of Heaven/Hell based upon a person's deeds or actions while in their earthly body.  It is for each person to decide what they believe but what each person doesn't have the right to do is change what the scriptures ultimately say about the afterlife.

Be as the Bereans ( Acts 17:11 )
