I did not say it, but TD published it.

It is not proper to call GW Bush an idiot , he does not fit the definition.
1) usually offensive : a person affected with idiocy
2) : a foolish or stupid person
But, the original meaning of the word fits too well.
FROM WIKIPEDIA: "Idiot" was originally created to refer to people who were overly concerned with their own self-interest and ignored the needs of the community. Declining to take part in public life, such as (semi-)democratic government of the polis (city state), such as the Athenian democracy, was considered dishonorable. "Idiots" were seen as having bad judgment in public and political matters. Over time, the term "idiot" shifted away from its original connotation of selfishness and came to refer to individuals with overall bad judgment–individuals who are "stupid". In modern English usage, the terms "idiot" and "idiocy" describe an extreme folly or stupidity, its symptoms (foolish or stupid utterance or deed).

Well he might, but then it depends on the definition of is. As in Bush "is" an idiot.

Strange that I became nostalgic for the good old days over the last quote in the You Said it Feature, "Santa, please bring Britney and Lindsay some panties for Christmas. Please." After all, this was published a week before Christmas.

Yep, as usual , right!

Before I ever used the term idiot to describe Bush in any public forum, I looked it up .Wash't me that called tho.
