Is this your source? Carrier gets tax breaks, but it's still sending 1,300 jobs to Mexico http://www.stltoday.com/busine...b1-c6b0990acab2.html The article quotes: but the Wall Street Journal reported the deal would save about 800 of the 1,400 jobs at the plant and about 300 at the headquarters. So 800 Carrier Indianapolis plant jobs saved at the plant + 300 more saved at HQ = 1100 saved. And 600 jobs lost at the plant [1,400 - 800 saved = 600 lost]. Where are the remaining 700 jobs lost...

You would think a professor would be better learned and/or informed. She's blaming Trump for Black citizens death yet Democrats were way behind Trump in reacting to this virus. While Democrats like Pelosi and New York Governor and Mayor was encouraging citizens to ride the subway, go to bars and restaurants and downplaying the virus they were also criticizing Trump over his restrictions on China. Aside from all that and aside from the virus what the professor wanna be fails to recognize and...

Re: Companies Brought $1 Trillion Back To U.S. Under Trump Tax Cuts, Commerce Dept. Says

Jack Hammer ·
As the Tax Foundation has noted , the tax on past overseas profits is payable over eight years, whether or not the funds are repatriated. Going forward, companies will only be taxed on earnings in the U.S. The repatriation rate is somewhat slower than initially expected, the Wall Street Journal reported last year, because the U.S. tax rate is only one factor in companies’ decision to keep profits abroad: President Barack Obama had long decried the practice of companies shifting profits...

I do think, if people use them correctly and know how to negotiate them then they can help the flow of traffic and keep things less congested but that's a huge IF. I had heard, one time, that the city was actually considering installing a roundabout on Middle Road and Gresham Rd (the road behind Target) as a part of the process to widen both of those roads, in the future. Given the growth along Middle Road and Gresham Rd what with the new subdivision(s) and apartments, I can see the...

I don't know where "ms. wonda" got her information from but she is wrong. I have been working this weekend in the clean up effort. Yesterday we were in the Phil Campbell area and this afternoon we went to Hackleburg. The police station is destroyed but I don't even think they had a jail. There wasn't any bars I saw anyway and me and other students from UNA were shoveling up debris from the street onto dump trucks. There are still search and recovery efforts going on in some parts of the area...
