women rank bottom in Alabama

head lines on times daily say women rank 49th. I am so tired of gender, race, etc. Alabama ranks near bottom on everything except football. They blame education, I blame culture. Little is being done to bring in different ideas, different people. If we keep inbreeding key positions we will continue to be at the bottom. I remember an assist. principle getting the nod for principle. Not because he was qualified but because he was one of us. This is rapid thru everything. A gentleman complained...

ouch,,, yet the union continually ask for raises for teachers. Good thing for them they aren't on a performance pay program. My suggestion is fire the union. maybe go out of state to hire teachers,, fire pert neer every administration official.

Who's inbreeding? Incest, at least in the US, is illegal, and if you know that is going on you need to report it to the proper authorities. What exactly is "one of us"?

I thought that Pennsylvania, as a state, had the largest incidents of incest. Of course, there's the Irish gypsies in South Carolina, as well.

The muzzies and the gypsies have inbreeding in common. Too, gypsies forbid dating outsiders/non-gypsies like the muzzies forbid it too. Gypsies don't take the punishment for breaking that rule as far as the muzzies do however. I doubt the gypsies have "honor killings".

The Irish group aren't real gypsies. That's a name that was hung on them for their traveling ways. They are usually the scam artists that say they will repave your driveways cheap. Then, spread used motor oil on it so it looks like drying asphalt.

"Two Broke Girls" syndrome! I hate it, but will watch it if I see it on when flipping through the channels, just because it's so awful it's fascinating.

I watched it for about two, maybe three weeks, then they started rerunning them. That broke the "spell". I could handle once, but not reruns three weeks later, and didn't care enough after that to see if it was on somewhere else. It was a train wreck.

sorry folks,,, I wasn't talking about incest. inbreeding I was talking about was jobs, ideas, and way of life. If we continue to not learn from others then we make the same mistakes. for improvement all ideas, methods should be considered.

I remember an assist. principle getting the nod for principle. Not because he was qualified but because he was one of us. This is rapid thru everything. A gentleman complained once to the mayor about someone who was brought in for a job. The complaint said "and he is not even one of us". If you refuse to listen to criticisms then you are refusing to grow. ------------------------- The problem with these anecdotes is they can be made up to suit a person's agenda. Nepotism and favoritism, or...

haha, take for whatever you want. The fact is Alabama rates near the bottom in about every category. How do we get to the top? guess I get my radar up when someone makes it about race, sex or whatever rather than the whole.

You just didn't make yourself clear. I asked you who you meant by "others", how they are excluded, and what criticism they had to offer that you felt we should give consideration. No confrontation, no arguing. No matter who you bring in, no matter where they are from, they too will practice favoritism and nepotism. I would be interested to see where you found anything to "get your radar up" in the replies. I have noticed that lately, when dealing with "liberals" (slops), no matter the...

You'll never attract quality teachers with a junk pay scale. Republicans will never figure that out.

And liberals will never be able to pass the tests they give to their 5th grade students but they have the union so being smart enough isn't a problem. The problem is teaching ain't a job , it's a benefit.

You know when we lived in your part of Alabama and my daughter went to Iuka schools, it was not a teacher problem in elementary school. Most of the teachers wanted to do good but they were overwhelmed by kids whose parents took no interest in their kids schooling, except for sports! The kids did not have parents who ensured they did their homework and understood it. In middle school a teacher assigned my daughter to sit in quad seating with the three biggest problem children in the class. My...

I don't know, maybe demand the republican controlled legislature and governor improve things... like making sure every school is adequately funded and teacher's salaries are raised. No let's just blame the liberals/dems and unions. That'll fix it... can't hold the rebubs accountable for anything...
