Firearms are tools -- specialized, even. Some shotguns are designed for trap and skeet target practice. Other shotguns to hunt goose and duck, while other shotguns to hunt quail and such. Sadly I have to go to Illinois soon. I try to stay away from places that don't want guns. However don't have a choice on this trip. So question (or thought) is if someone is in a place that post a sign "no guns" and something happens, are they libel. After all by banning guns aren't they saying they will protect us?
Illinois doesn't have a reciprocal law with Alabama for CCLs. Suggest you check the back of yours for a list. The Federal Firearms Owner Act protects one traveling in states with strict hoplophobe laws. It must be unloaded and in the trunk, or otherwise inaccessible to the passengers.

am aware I can't carry in Illinois, so are they liable if something happens? since they are saying I can't carry. I just thought it was a good question. I do all I can not to go to places that don't want me to carry.
