Should certain drugs receive decriminalization in the United States to enable them to be produced/grown, sold, regulated, and taxed? As for harder drugs such as Cocaine if legalization is accomplished for it then make it required for doctors to authorize it and within certain limits and doses in order to control it. Should Prostitution be decriminalized in order to regulate it and better keep track of who is diseased and who isn't as well as collecting fees and taxes on it?

There have been many discussions at diverse places regarding partially legalizing certain drugs and prostitution in order to tax it and regulate it better.  The thought is that through pricing and availability the illegal market would dry up.  Marijuana is the drug of choice to be first decriminalized.  AS for where it stops who knows but the hard economic times are challenging many to think outside the box.  Also with the aging population many know better what the drugs are today and are not as afraid of them or their effects as past generations have been.
