Just recently I spent several days as a visitor at E.C.M. Hospital. I was with a family member who was in I.C.U. On several different occasions I witnessed people who obviously were not visitors at the hospital, taking food from the baskets that the churches had left. I also saw some of these people smoking in stairwells among other things. I talked with a security guard who appeared to be in charge, he assured me these things would be taken care of. This went on all week and i never did see a guard on the floor, nor in the parking garage where at least twice during my visit i saw the same person looking in vehicles. But I will tell you where I did see security every night that I was at the Hospital. I saw at least two and sometimes three all sitting and smoking at the emergency room entrance. On one of these nights they were not allowing visitors into ICU so with nothing else to do I went up to the top level of the parking garage to smoke, I ended up staying up there for over an hour watching these guards they were smoking and laughing and being very obnoxious and even grabbing some of the women that I belive were employees of the hospital. So now on to my poll question.
