Really bettern-nun? Then how do you explain all the others that decide to do this? I'd dare say the majority of them being raised in "straight" and most likely "christian" homes. These parents appear to be religious.
I wonder too how children in single parent homes, due to the death of a parent or a divorce, manage to flourish.

OK! I'm tired of reading about Two and a half Lizzies, moving on.

Who's forcing you to read about anyone or anything? I love that christian attitude. Just for you:

BTW, the child hasn't undergone a sex change as the title suggests.

Thanks Best, I needed that.
They really should leave the 11 yr. old alone for at least 10yrs.
.
I wonder why they stressed l e s b i a n couple in the article? Usually they just say couple. How odd. Do they write white couple, or black couple or mixed couple? For instance, had this been a male and female couple would the title of your thread have been "straight couple allow 11 year old to undergo sex change"?
*************************************
They stressed the perverse sexual orientation of the couple because these women are decidedly not normal parents. One has good reason to wonder whether this lad's decision to girlify himself was influenced by his exposure to this abnormal, unnatural parental arrangement.

And that is your own personal opinion and isn't based on any science or behavioral studies, not to mention psychiatric or sociological conclusions.
The title is totally misleading, this topic has nothing to do with religion, and there is nothing to do with any sex change being done with this child. It isn't as if the parents decided he would make a cute girl and got him some pills! This is medically supervised and the psychologist agreed with it, and that article posted here has little resemblance to the one that simply stated facts without all the anti-g a y rhetoric and misinformation added.
They are just allowing the child to take hormones, and the real article says that if they are withdrawn s/he would start puberty. The slant in this version is just biased and disgusting.
